About Zoë
Zoë is a member of the firm’s litigation group, and her practice focuses on workplace law and civil litigation. Zoë advises employers on their rights and obligations regarding occupational health, safety, and accommodation. She works with both employers and employees on discipline, dismissal, harassment and discrimination matters, and conducts workplace investigations.
Zoë received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Development Studies and Political Science from Dalhousie University in 2009. Zoë moved across the country to attend law school at the University of Victoria, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2014. Zoë returned to the east coast to article with the legal services department of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice, and she was called to the bar of Nova Scotia in 2015.
Zoë worked in South Africa with the country’s leading non-profit human rights law firm, and practiced employment and human rights law with boutique firms in Toronto for five years. Zoë has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Ontario Small Claims Court, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She was called to the bar of Ontario in 2017.
Outside of the office, Zoë enjoys travelling, listening to podcasts, and spending time outdoors with her family.
