Burchells LLP is excited to welcome a new Associate lawyer to the firm as well announcing that all three of our current Articled Clerks will be joining the firm as associates in June 2020.
Jason May has been practicing law since 2011 following his obtaining a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in 2010. Jason’s practice has focused on immigration law and his work covers all aspects of that area including work, study, and visitor applications, permanent resident and citizenship applications, admissibility issues, humanitarian and compassionate causes, refugee claims and matters of judicial review before the Federal Court of Canada. Before joining Burchells, Jason was practicing with a leading immigration law boutique in Halifax.
Burchells is also pleased to announce that all of its current Articled Clerks will be joining us as associates upon completion of their articles. Danielle Keating, Jacob Glover and Vanja Mitrovic all received the Juris Doctor degrees from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2019. Although hireback decisions for clerks typically are made in February or March, all three current clerks have proven to be exemplary making an early decision an easy one.
We are most excited to grow and serve our clients with such excellent individuals such as Danielle, Jacob, Jason and Vanja.
