Carly Morrison

Carly Morrison is an Associate with Burchell Wickwire Bryson's Litigation, Labour and Employment, Family Law, and Administrative Law groups.

Originally from North Wallace, Nova Scotia, Carly earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Thomas University in 2017, graduating with Honours in Sociology and a major in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2023 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2024. Carly has experience representing clients before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and is committed to providing practical, client-focused advocacy.

Carly enjoys helping clients navigate complex legal issues and has a particular interest in advocacy, access to justice, and the intersection of law and social issues. As a proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, she is committed to providing inclusive and effective legal representation.

Outside of her practice, Carly enjoys travelling throughout Atlantic Canada with her fiancé and pets - Helia, Binx, and Frankie. She values spending time with family and friends and is actively involved in her community. Carly serves as Secretary of the Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia Branch's Sexual and Gender Diversity Alliance and is the founder of the Halifax Queer Book Club.
