About Sarah

Sarah MacCallum is a member of our Banking and Insolvency and Civil Litigation service areas.

Sarah attended Mount Allison University as a Bell Scholar and graduated with a Bachelor of Science honors degree in psychology. She then attended Dalhousie University for a Masters of Art in Health Promotion, before enrolling in the University of New Brunswick for law school. She graduated on the Law School Dean’s List in 2021 and during her studies was the program coordinator for UNB’s Pro Bono Canada chapter, participated in the competitive Wilson Moot for equality related issues and interned with the New Brunswick Child and Youth Advocate. Sarah has received extra training in written advocacy, having completed the well-respected Osgoode Law School Written Advocacy course in 2022.

Sarah strives to provide practical and effective advice for her clients, most frequently in the realm of creditor’s rights. She has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, as well as the New Brunswick Court of King’s Bench.

Outside of work, Sarah sits on the Board of Directors for the Chebucto Family Centre (a parent and child wellness centre and community hub). She also enjoys spending time with her husband and their overly-spoiled cat, Yoda, listening to podcasts and pursuing her latest crafting adventure.
