Quila Gillott is a member of the firm’s Wills, Estates & Trusts, Civil Litigation, and Administrative Law practice groups. Quila has a diverse legal practice, with a particular focus on estate planning, probate administration, and estate litigation. 

Quila graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 2024. During law school, Quila volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and Legal Aid BC, and completed a co-op term at the Office of the Ombudsperson. Quila also completed the Business Law Clinic as well as the Environmental Law Clinic, where she co-authored a report on Mining Law Reform. 

Quila received her honours Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto in 2014. She then obtained a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies from the University of Toronto in 2015. 

Outside of the office, Quila enjoys exploring Nova Scotia with her husband, her son, and her dog, Toonie. She enjoys travelling, and spent three years travelling through Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Asia before beginning law school, as well as recently completing a cross-Canada road trip.
