About Evan

Evan Parsley is a member of our Banking and Insolvency practice group. 

Evan attended the University of New Brunswick where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with distinction in 2021. He leveraged his technical background in the pursuit of a legal career and graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2024 with Specialization Certificates in both Law and Technology and Business Law. During law school, Evan also volunteered for the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service as a student advocate before becoming the Co-President of the Dalhousie Access to Justice Society in his final year of studies, focusing mainly on developing publicly accessible resources related to residential tenancy matters. 

Evan gained significant experience in a range of areas including corporate commercial, real estate and property law, and civil litigation while completing his articling requirements and is passionate about applying his diverse experience to achieve practical and effective results for his clients, primarily in the realm of creditors’ rights and recovery. 

Outside of the office, Evan enjoys staying active by playing golf and other recreational sports including hockey, as well as by cycling, hiking and exploring the region. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and practicing guitar to expand his playing skills beyond Wonderwall.
