About Anindo
Anindo Satyajit Sen is an Associate with Burchell Wickwire Bryson LLP.
Anindo holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Gujarat University, India, as well as a Master of Laws from the School of Law, Gujarat University, India. He enrolled with the Bar Council of Gujarat, India, as an advocate and is a life member of the Gujarat High Court Advocates Association, Ahmedabad, India. He holds a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Administration from Cape Breton University, Canada. In addition, he holds the Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and is currently enrolled with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, Canada, where he continues to expand his legal practice.
Anindo’s practice interests are expanding to build upon the legal experience he gained while practicing in India. He has appeared in a wide range of legal cases in India, which has given him extensive exposure to diverse legal issues. Further, he was also affiliated with the Gujarat Legal Aid Society, where he handled pro bono matters and provided consultancy to various underprivileged persons in the community. He is qualified to practice law in India and Canada, and this cross-border experience allows him to bring a wider comparative perspective informed by two distinct legal systems. He is particularly committed to making legal services accessible across cultural and linguistic lines and works closely with clients to ensure they feel informed and supported at every stage of the legal process. Notably, he was awarded international student exchange scholarships to Japan (2011) and the Philippines (2014) as part of his early academic development, through a program organized by American Field Services.
Outside of the office, Anindo loves to travel, hike, spend time in nature, and read a wide variety of books, which fuels his curiosity and appreciation for diverse perspectives. He also enjoys listening to music and watching films to relax and unwind. He previously worked with the Jeev Daya Foundation, an NGO based in Ahmedabad, India, that focuses on animal rescue and welfare. In addition to his community engagement, he is an avid cricket player, swimmer, and connoisseur of good food from around the world.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Bengali, Anindo regularly assists clients in their preferred language to ensure clarity, trust, and confidence in the legal process. His multilingual skills enable him to build strong, respectful relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
