Associate Sarah MacLeod's triumphant return

After a year at the Federal Court and points west, on August 2 associate lawyer Sarah MacLeod makes her grand return to Burchells.

We couldn't be more delighted.

Following a great articling year with us, in early 2021 Sarah was selected for a coveted clerkship with Justice Michael Manson of the Federal Court of Canada.  She took a leave of absence from her associate position and headed to Ottawa, joining a long Burchells tradition of judicial clerkships.

Sarah returns as an associate lawyer, focusing her litigation practice on administrative, human rights, health, and insurance law.  Her experience with the Court will be a great asset to the firm and her clients.

Welcome back, Sarah!
